Year 5

Welcome to Year 5M! Happy New Year!

We are very excited for the coming year and have lots of fun things planned for 2018. Our topic this term is ‘To Infinity and Beyond!’ We are starting off by completing our astronaut training and when we are successful, we will be launched into space to find out all about the planets and how people survive and explore!

In Year 5 children are set homework on a Friday to be completed by Tuesday. It is the children’s responsibility to ensure that this homework is completed by the day required and they will need to stay in and complete it if it is not done.  It will be either Numeracy or SPaG linked to work completed in class.

Our P.E lessons are on a Friday. Please ensure P.E kit is in school and long hair is tied back and earrings are removed.

Reading: Children need to be reading to an adult at least 3 x a week. Please make sure their diary is signed so they can earn the reading reward!
