Sports Premium

At The Bromley Pensnett Primary School our school sports vision is to develop a life-long love of learning through physical engagement in high quality PE, sport and healthy activity for all of our children in a caring and mutually respectful environment.

The Government is funding all primary schools to improve the quality of PE and sport provision, including increasing participation levels so that all pupils develop healthy lifestyles and reach individual performance potential.  For the year 2017-18 we receive £18,170.

In the year 2016-17 The Bromley Pensnett Primary School participated in a rugby festival, Cricket tournament, Cross Country event,  two dance festivals, Rounders tournament, gymnastic tournament, racket festival at a local gym with our cluster of schools and we hosted a multi-sport activity day for local schools.

Children were able to take part in a huge range of clubs including:

  • Change for Life – a multi sport and healthy lifestyle group
  • Football
  • Ball skills
  • Skipping
  • Stacking club
  • Multi-sport club
  • Gymnastics
